She started Nail Kitchen because good enough never was
Kira kept seeing nails done the fast way — rushed, inconsistent, built to last a few days at best. She wasn't interested in doing it that way.
Originally from Los Angeles, her background spans pastry, art, and tattooing — disciplines rooted in patience, precision, and a steady hand. That same mindset carries into every set she does today.
Now based in Basalt, she's brought the Russian manicure to the Roaring Fork Valley for the first time — a slower, more exacting approach where prep is clean, structure is intentional, and nothing is rushed.
